From Social Anxiety to Self-Love and Inner Calm

The Challenge: Anxiety That Took Over Her Mind—and Her Body

For Hannah, social anxiety wasn’t just a passing discomfort—it was daily, physical, and restless. Every time she walked into a room at work or a social setting, her chest tightened. Her heart raced. Her mind filled with noise:

“What do they think of me? Am I acting weird? Should I even be here?”

She constantly worried about being judged, never feeling like she could truly be herself.

Why It Mattered: “I Just Want to Feel Like Myself Again”

When I asked Hannah what she really wanted, her answer was simple yet powerful:

“I want to feel calm and confident when I’m around people. I want to get rid of this anxiety that’s been crippling me.”

She pictured feeling relaxed around colleagues, fully focused on her tasks, and finally at ease in her own skin. But anxiety had been living in her body for years, overshadowing every interaction.

What Was Underneath: Childhood Chaos and Broken Trust

In our session, we traced Hannah’s anxiety back to its roots.

Her childhood was chaotic—divorced parents, constant yelling from her mother, a grandmother who was unkind toward her, and an older sister who tormented her. The moments that emerged revealed a heartbreaking pattern:

“I can’t trust anyone—especially those closest to me. I have no control.”

We uncovered the loss of control, fear, sadness, and helplessness she’d carried for decades, all concluding in paralyzing social anxiety.

The RTT Process: Releasing Beliefs That Were Never Hers

I guided Hannah back to scenes from her past to explore the memories and lies that had bound Hannah’s mind. Scene by scene, she recognized:

  1. Where her fear of judgment began
  2. Why she felt so unsafe around others
  3. How she learned to “protect” herself by shrinking and avoiding eye contact

Then we rewrote the narrative—showing Hannah she wasn’t powerless. She was allowed to trust herself, feel in control, and be seen without fear.

She came out of our session feeling a massive wave of relief and empowerment.

The Breakthrough: “It Was Like Mud Washed Off My Body”

Three weeks after her session, here’s what Hannah had to say:

“It’s like the anxiety was mud on my body—and it was washed away. I pretty much immediately stopped having anxiety. I don’t struggle anymore with things being out of my control or being in social situations. I feel light, I feel self-love, and I feel free.”

That’s the power of finally returning to yourself—after years of staying small and second-guessing.

Does Hannah’s Story Feel Familiar to You?

Maybe you’ve walked into work and instantly felt your throat close up.
You force a smile, but inside your chest is tight and your mind’s spiraling:
“Am I doing something wrong? Are they judging me?”

You’re exhausted from hiding it—but too anxious to be real with anyone.
If this sounds like you, you’re not broken. You’re just carrying stories that were never yours.

Why Now Matters

Every day spent doubting yourself chips away at your energy, your joy, your peace. But it doesn’t have to stay this way. You’ve come this far—imagine how it would feel to wake up tomorrow, breathe deep, and know you’re safe to be yourself again.

If anxiety has been running the show, now is the time to take back the script. You deserve to feel calm, confident, and like yourself again.
